Recipe Alla Posh Mond/Pumpkin Flower Fritters
Serving size: 2 to 4 people
Ingredients:
- • 6-10 alla posh/pumpkin flowers
- • 1 cup of rice flour
- • 1 tsp.mertshwangan/red chili powder
- • ½ cup water
- • ¼ tsp.salt or salt to taste
- • Pinch of zeur/black or white cumin seed
- • Vegetable cooking oil for frying

Method:
- • Open alla posh at the center and remove inner stalk.
- • Put rice flour, salt, cumin seed and chili powder in a bowl.
- • Mix all together well.
- • Add ½ cup water and mix to form a thick batter.
- • Heat oil in a frying pan/kadia
- • Dip alla posh in batter and coat batter on both sides carefully without breaking.
- • Add battered alla posh to hot oil.
- • Fry until alla posh turns golden red and crispy and turn to fry both sides..
- • Serve alla posh monji hot or cold with tea as a snack or as a side dish with lunch or dinner.
