Sunaina Kaw is a Post Graduate in Homesciene Education teaching in a private school in India. She and her husband Sanjay moved to Fiji Islands in 2004. In Fiji expats are not allowed to work so she kept herself busy in reading and and developed interest in writing.

She got involved with Hindi Radio Station and started giving talks on women issues as well as reading Hindi poems written by famous authors. Reading those poems gradualy developed interest in her in writing her own poems. She is indebted to her parents Santosh Jalali and Hriday Nath Jalali for encouraging her in her endeavors.
