Annual K.P. National Camp at Lake Tahoe

  Come & Join us at Lake Tahoe for July 4th weekend
This is a reminder to our KP community members in US, and Canada and for those who are yet to register for a fun filled weekend. Please make this event a great success by your noble presence and lend a sense of purpose to our efforts. The Camp will provide community members an opportunity to meet others, to foster new friendships and to rejuvenate old ones and revive memories of yore. Our Camp Volunteer team has an exciting program in store for everyone young and old including famous Kashmiri artists coming from India. Details about "Kashmiri Artist" visiting from India will be announced soon.

As you know, after the successful completion of the first ever KP National Camp at Big Bear Lake Resort, California in 2008, KP Biradari is looking forward keenly for yet another fun filled get together from July 3rd to 5th July 2009 in Northern California at Lake Tahoe.

 Getting to Lake Tahoe
 Nearest Airport - Reno-Tahoe International Airport (approximately 50-60 miles from Lake Tahoe)
Distance from Sacramento - 103 miles (from South Lake Tahoe)
Distance from San Francisco - 200 miles (from Tahoe City)
 Where will we stay in South Lake Tahoe? 
The hotel Suites booked for this event is perfectly located on Highway 50, walking distance from Lake Tahoe and less than one mile from the Heavenly Valley Ski Resort and Lake Tahoe Casinos. This South Lake Tahoe, CA hotel is also close to the Edgewood Golf Course, the Tahoe Queen Cruise and Zephyr Cove. Lake Mariner is close by. The hotel is close to recreational activities like golfing, rafting, sailing, biking, tennis, horseback riding, fishing,  and hiking. The on-site restaurant will serve lunch and dinner.
 How to register?
  • Registration fee for each family is $25.00. Please download the registration form for details.
  • Hotel rooms are sold out except for three rooms. Volunteer team is looking into nearby hotels for additional accomodation /rooms.
  • The rates for campsite is $40/night (Some Campsites may still be available for hardcore campers at Camp Richardson. The campsites have a 3 night minimum and are vailable for July, 3, 4, 5.Camp Richardson is 7 miles from the Hotel where KP National Camp is being held. .Please check directly if some sites are available and book directly with Camp Richardson, Phone 1-800-544-1801). KP National Camp charges for people staying in tents is $225 plus registration for a family of 4 (Boarding and common expenses foa all 3 days.
  • Day visitors will book their own accomodation and the cost will be $80 plus registration  for a family with 2 kids for Friday and $120 plus registration  for a family with 2 kids for Saturday that will cover your food, fun and entertainment including Musical night and DJ Dance..
