“Our KP Samaj does change and is always ready to modify, so as to keep pace & need of the changing times”- Swami Kumar ji. Such a shining example was established when Razdan Zroo Parivar (1990 displaced family) of Chandpora, Habbakadal solemnized the ‘Vharvaer’ of their father Late Moti Lal Razdan in a unique and different way alongwith the young girl inmates of Drishti Kanya Chatravas, Pounichak, Jammu. The hostel located on the outskirts of Jammu city is result of an initiative of Sewa Bharti. Needy young girls mostly affrected from 2010 Ladakh landslide devastation as well as terror affected regions of Doda, Kishtwar and Kashmir get care at this Sewa center. 23 such young daughters are being provided education as well as ’sanskaras’ for an all-round development. ![]() The chatravaas girls took everybody by surprise when each one of them introduced herself in pure Sanskrit. A mesmerizing set of compositions on various musical instruments in unison & harmony, exhibited the team spirit of the girls which was highly appreciated by one and all. Patriotic song antakshari, few mental games jointly involving the audience also made the atmosphere warm with all laughters and fun; thus each one present feeling at home giving birth to a hope that “we can live with each other& spread happiness at no cost” which is the real need of this Whatsapp and Facebook era. ![]() The host parivaar presented a set of various musical instruments and all time required books with sufficient number of dictionaries to the young girls, which is expected to add to the facilities of the hostel in the long run. A humble lunch which the hostel girls volunteered to serve all the guests was full of warmth and love. Dr. Ramesh Razdan thanked all the families present on behalf of the parivaar. | |
