Shirin Razdan and Mr. Shubham Kumar's Miami wedding reception was an unforgettable event that celebrated the fusion of cultures, featuring Latin acrobatics and Indian dance styles. Hosted by Drs. Shashi and Sanjay Razdan at the Trump National Doral on April 15th, 2023, the reception was a joyous celebration of the couple's recent nuptials in New Delhi on February 23rd, 2023. The couple received blessings and well-wishes from distinguished guests and dignitaries present during the wedding ceremony, including a congratulatory note from the Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi.
 The Miami wedding reception was a jubilant and lively event featuring a variety of entertaining dance performances by friends, family, and professional dance troupes. The bride Shirin, choreographed the couple's first dance, a playful and whimsical waltz to the song "Tere Jaisa" from the popular TV series Kota Factory. Shirin also collaborated with the original trio of childhood friends, alongside Priyanka and Nina Shakher, to create a medley of songs that incorporated classical Indian dance styles, hip-hop, fusion, and finally, traditional Kashmiri Rouf dance performance on the bumbro- bumbro tunes from the movie Mission Kashmir.DJ Varun’s opening of the dance floor led to an impromptu performance of the Oscar-winning song "Naatu Naatu" by the youngsters of the community, which culminated in a dance competition among the guests. Dr. Sanjay Razdan also impressed the guests with his slick dance moves during the crescendo. Apart from the lively, electric dance performances, DJ Varun and Ms. Nina Shakher's hosting of the event was a standout feature. Their coordination and smooth transitions between the acts were impressive. Ms. Nina reminisced about her childhood memories with the bride, entertaining the audience with her wit and innocence. The professional dance troupes, including Le Monde Shows, brought the audience to their feet with their Colombian salsa, Spanish flamenco, and Brazilian samba performances. The guests were amazed by the precise Bharatanatyam act performed by Geeta Dias's Bollywood Dance Group. The wedding location was truly magical, with indoor and outdoor spaces that exuded luxury and charm, offering an inviting and cozy ambiance. During the cocktail hour, guests were treated to a classical sitar performance and a range of international hors d'oeuvres from Trump catering, complemented by appetizers from The Palace Indian restaurant, giving the menu a truly global appeal. The dinner, catered by The Palace, featured a fine selection of traditional Indian dishes and desserts. The wedding cake, adorned with rich vanilla and dulce de leche, was expertly paired with Latin favorites like tres-leches and tiramisu, adding an international touch to the menu. The wedding reception was a beautiful amalgamation of two cultures, seamlessly blending the east and west and bringing together the Razdan and Kumar families. The outpouring of love and joy from family and friends present made the occasion truly special, marking a great start of a new chapter in the lives of the newlyweds; it was a day that the couple will undoubtedly cherish for the rest of their lives. Everyone in attendance felt a profound feeling of love and well wishes for the couple.
